The purpose of this club shall be to encourage our members to go into the field of education.

Article III: Membership

The membership of the club shall be open to all students of Dos Palos High School.

Article IV: Motto

Article V: Dues

Amount of Dues will be determined at the first Club Ed meeting of the school year.

Article VI: Officers

Officers shall be elected at the start of the school year: one president, one vice-president, one secretary and one treasurer.
All officers shall be elected to one-year terms.
All officers shall be elected at the start of the school year in September.
New officers shall be elected by a simple majority vote – if a majority is present at the meeting.

The president shall preside over all club meetings. The president shall attend all DPHS ASB meetings and shall report on said meeting to club members.
The vice-president shall preside at all meetings in the absence of or at the request of the president.
The secretary shall keep an accurate record of all meetings regular and special. The secretary shall read aloud the minutes of the previous meeting at the succeeding meeting.
The treasurer shall keep an accurate account of all club funds. The treasurer shall make all collections and payments.

Article VII: Committees

Special committees shall be chosen to take care of any temporary or special situation requiring committee action.

Article VIII: Meetings

Meetings shall be held every four weeks, unless stated otherwise by the president or vice-president.

The meetings shall be conducted according to the rules set down in Robert’s Rules of Order.

The constitution of this club can be amended only by a three-fourths (3/4) majority.

Article XI: By-Laws

Any member who misses four (4) meetings of the club shall lose his/her membership in the club.
