PUBLIC NOTICE

NOTICE INVITING INTERESTED CONTRACTORS FOR THE 2023 CALIFORNIA PUBLIC CONSTRUCTION COST ACCOUNTING (CUPCCA) ACT INFORMAL BID LIST FOR DOS PALOS - ORO LOMA JOINT UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT.

The Dos Palos – Oro Loma Joint Unified School District (“District”) has adopted the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Procedures (“CUPCCAA”) under Public Contract Code §22000 et. Seq. and invites all interested licensed contractors to submit their company for inclusion on the District’s Informal Bidding Contractors List for the 2023 calendar year.

As a result of adopting CUPCCAA, the District is authorized to engage in an Informal Bidding process for award of construction contracts valued at $200,000 or less. Under the Informal Bidding procedures adopted by the District, potential Bidders must complete and submit a CUPCCAA Registration Form in order to participate in the District’s Informal Bidding processes.

All trade categories are subject to Informal Bidding Procedures. Contractors that are interested in being on the Informal Bidding Contractors List are required to have a current license for each trade category for which is requested. Contractor licenses are subject to verification through the Contractors State License Board.

Additionally, pursuant to SB 854, no contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid or awarded a contract for a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) per California Labor Code section 1725.5.

The District will accept CUPCCAA Registration Forms for the 2023 calendar year on an on-going basis.
