DPHS SAT Exam Day - March 21st

Hello Everyone,

This is a reminder that this Thursday we have the SAT Exam from 8:00 am to 11:00 am in the cafeteria. Students, please be on time and punctual and come directly to the cafeteria before 1st period. I suggest arriving 10 minutes early.


Do dress comfortably and within the school dress code and you may want to bring layered clothing if too hot or too cold you can adjust accordingly. Such as a sweater or sweatshirt on top of a comfortable T-shirt. Make sure to get a good night's sleep before exam day, typically 8-9 hours is sufficient, and eating a good breakfast beforehand helps to stay concentrated on the exam instead of hunger. 

All electronic devices (earbuds, cell phones, smartwatches, and more) other than a calculator or a medically approved device (must be cleared before test day) will be prohibited during the exam. These items will need to be powered off and collected before exam commencement. Any noise or access to these devices during testing may invalidate the student's exam and that student may be discharged for later investigation with the College Board organization. Chromebooks, scratch paper, and pencils will be provided as well as calculators. Any calculator that connects to wifi/ethernet/Bluetooth etc. or internet access through a cell or satellite connection is also prohibited.

Snacks will be provided and you are welcome to bring your own but will only be allowed to consume during the break time within the SAT Exam guidelines. During break time students are prohibited from accessing electronic devices as well as discussing contents of the exam with anyone in person.

Students who are late for the exam will not be admitted as the exam will have commenced and there is no alternate window of time. We must be punctual.
