Parent Volunteers
Parent Volunteer Opportunities

Our district's theme is #ALL IN 4 DPOL and parents are an integral part of our school system! We encourage parents to volunteer at their child's school. Your efforts make a huge impact on our school's performance. Involved parents improve our schools by taking ownership of their child's education. We have many opportunities to support our students' success. Complete a School Volunteer Application and submit for approval to your child's school directly to become a parent volunteer. Here are the screening requirements to become a volunteer:
- You must be able to present some form of current government-issued photo identification (driver’s license, passport, military ID, US or other government identification).
- Be checked by designated site personnel against the California Department of Justice, Sexual Offender (Megan’s Law) website (http://www.meganslaw.ca.gov).
- Present current Tuberculosis clearance (State Law requires a TB Clearance for anyone working on a regular basis with children).
- For security reasons, a fingerprint background check will be conducted.
