Parent Volunteer Opportunities

Colorful hands raised with We love parent volunteers caption
Our district's theme is One Town, One District, One Goal, and parents are an integral part of our school system!  We encourage parents to volunteer at their child's school.  Your efforts make a huge impact on our school's performance.  Involved parents improve our schools by taking ownership of their child's education.  We have many opportunities to support our students' success. Complete a School Volunteer Application and submit it for approval to your child's school directly to become a parent volunteer.  Here are the screening requirements to become a volunteer:
  • You must be able to present some form of current government-issued photo identification (driver’s license, passport, military ID, US, or other government identification).
  • Be checked by designated site personnel against the California Department of Justice, Sexual Offender (Megan’s Law) website (http://www.meganslaw.ca.gov).
  • Present current Tuberculosis clearance (State Law requires a TB Clearance for anyone working on a regular basis with children).
  • For security reasons, a fingerprint background check will be conducted.
