El Distrito Escolar Unificado de Dos Palos Oro Loma prohíbe la discriminación, el hostigamiento, la intimidación y el acoso escolar en programas educativos, actividades o empleo por motivos de ascendencia racial o percibida, edad, color, discapacidad, género, identidad de género, expresión de género, nacionalidad, ciudadanía o estado migratorio, raza o etnia, religión, sexo, orientación sexual, embarazo actual o potencial, estado civil o familiar, estado militar o asociación con una persona o un grupo con una o más de estas características reales o percibidas. State and Federal law require that a free and appropriate public education (FAPE) in the least restrictive environment be offered to qualified pupils with disabilities ages 3 through 21 years. Students classified as individuals with exceptional needs for whom a special education placement is unavailable or inappropriate may receive services in a private nonsectarian school. Please contact the local director of special education for specific information. (Ed Code, § 56040 et seq.) In addition, services are available for students who have a disability which interferes with their equal Access to educational opportunities. (Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, 34 C.F.R. §104.32) The District Official listed below is responsible for handling requests for services under Section 504, any questions or concerns should be directed to:
 
Las leyes estatales y federales requieren que se le ofrezca una educación pública, gratuita, y apropiada (reconocida como “FAPE”) en el ambiente menos restrictivo a los alumnos calificados con incapacidades de las edades de 3 hasta 21 años.
