Local Control Accountability Plan

LCAP Overview

The LCFF gives school districts more flexibility in deciding how to use state funds. In exchange, school districts must work with parents, educators, students, and the community to develop a Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) that shows how they will use these funds to serve students.

Goal 1: Academics - Enhance and sustain an academic program prioritizing early literacy and mathematics instruction, marked by exemplary tier 1 academic teaching methods, complemented by a comprehensive framework of tier 2 and 3 academic interventions tailored to address the diverse needs of every student demographic.

Goal 2:
College & Careers - Ensure the readiness of all students for post-high school success by offering a broad course of study that acquaints them with the essential knowledge, skills, and experiences required to pursue their desired college or career paths.

Goal 3:
Broad Goal - Foster and maintain a school environment that nurtures the holistic development of each child, encompassing their social, emotional, physical, and mental well-being. Cultivate a safe and inclusive atmosphere that embraces diversity and actively involves parents and families in the educational journey.

Goal 4:
Equity Multiplier - Revitalize the educational program at Westside High School to improve access to comprehensive college and career readiness opportunities, resulting in a 10% increase in students demonstrating college and career readiness by June 2027.
