Superintendent’s Message

It is an honor to serve as Superintendent of the Dos Palos-Oro Loma Joint Unified School District. With over two decades of experience in education—spanning both elementary and secondary levels—I am deeply committed to inspiring lifelong learners and empowering leaders to do great things for all students. Together, we can make a difference.

My journey began after serving in the U.S. Army and attending Humboldt State University on the GI Bill. I started my career in education in the Central Valley, working first as a computer support technician, then as a classroom teacher and technology director. Over the years, I have served in a variety of leadership roles at both the elementary and high school levels, and each experience has strengthened my belief in the power of education to transform lives.

I believe that every student possesses an innate sense of wonder, creativity, and critical thinking. It is our responsibility as educators—and as a community—to nurture these qualities and provide the support needed for all students to reach their highest potential. I also believe strongly that education is a shared endeavor: it takes collaboration among families, staff, and the wider community to ensure student success.

As Superintendent, my leadership is guided by three principles: communication, transparency, and trust. Together, we will continue to foster a culture that values lifelong learning, encourages innovation, and empowers every student to succeed.

I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the students and families of our district, and I look forward to continuing our work together in support of excellence in education. By partnering with our dedicated teachers, staff, administrators, parents, and community members, I am confident that we will achieve great things for our students—today and in the years to come.
