California State Assessments
Our school participates in California state assessments to help measure student learning and support academic growth. These tests show how well students are meeting grade-level standards and help guide instruction.
- CAASPP: Students in grades 3–8 and grade 11 take CAASPP tests in English, Math, and Science.
- Smarter Balanced: These computer-based tests focus on English and Math and measure problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- CAST: The California Science Test is given to students in grades 5, 8, and high school.
- ELPAC: The ELPAC test supports students' English language learning by measuring reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT): Students in grades 5, 7, and 9 take the Physical Fitness Test to measure strength, flexibility, and endurance.
State assessments are one of many tools we use to support student success and improve learning at our school.
